If you are a Dallas Retired Teacher, administrator,  or support, you are invited to join our association.  We also have affiliated membership if you are interested in supporting the Dallas Retired Teachers Association.

DRTA mission is to promote the professional, economic, intellectual, social, and healthy well-being of retired school personnel. 

 

We are affiliated with TRTA which is the largest association in the nation for retired teachers with a history of active involvement for improved benefits for all education retirees and promotes the well-being of its members.

 

We are in touch with its members through telephone calls, e-mails, newsletters, and personal invitations to all activities.  DRTA provides information about retirement, TRTA state projects, and new health and wellness programs and activities for its members. Programs at monthly meetings during the year include the following:  reports and information on TRTA's legislative actions and planning for retirees, TRS-Care Insurance, TRTA benefits, financial planning, recreational and vacation planning, health and wellness, retirement education, luncheons, special entertainment, and fellowship.
