TRTA is the voice for ALL public education retirees.

TRTA lobbies for us and monitors the legislature for proposals to protect and improve our retirement security and health care.

TRTA is working to secure a COLA in the current session.

 

DRTA keeps you informed of state and local happenings through emails, our Facebook page, and informative meetings.

DRTA local meetings present programs on topics of interest, provide the enjoyment of the solidarity and friendship of fellow retirees, and encourage volunteerism within DRTA and the community.

Your membership really does matter!

Fall Elections are coming up!  Make sure you have a voting plan prepared.  How can you do that?  Here are some websites that you may use to research candidates, find out if you are registered to vote, how to register to vote and how to vote by mail. 

Also, if you know ANYONE who is not yet registered to vote, share the information from Dallas County Elections Department at  https://www.dallascountyvotes.org.  It has information that can guide them in the process of registering to vote as well as voting by mail. 

Vote411.org is a voter’s guide where you can see what is on YOUR ballot as well as check your voter registration.

To find information about candidates’ stands of issues, check out Vote411.org, OR sos.state.tx.us OR the League of Women Voters website.
