Grant Winners Announced!

These winners were awarded $750 each on December 6, 2024 at the DRTA Luncheon. Congratulations to all!

Enrique J. Andino Santos, music/modern band director at the School for the Talented and Gifted (TAG) in Pleasant Grove, will update equipment needed for instruction by purchasing four new keyboards , 4 sustain pedals, and soft cases for new keyboards as well as replacing worn-out keyboard cases.
Sandra Urton, George W. Truett Elementary mixed classroom Pre-K4 teacher at George W. Truett Elementary School, will purchase materials to enhance the Innovative Pathways curriculum used in the classroom and to encourage parental engagement that supports early literacy and social emotional learning at home.
Vanthony Harris, fifth grade teacher at Maria Moreno STEAM Academy, will purchase four IPad Tablets for students to use with existing merger cubes to create an interactive 3D model of a specific ecosystem.

Pre-K teacher at Stephen Foster Elementary, will purchase fun, dynamic, and educational science resources to provide students opportunities to develop critical thinking skills.
